Daily Meals

Adult Dogs: Combine 1 lb ground meat with 1/3 cup Meat Mixer and 2/3 cups water. Mix and serve.

Make Ahead

• Small Bag (makes 18 lbs): Combine the entire bag of Meat Mixer with 10 lbs ground protein and 6-7 cups of water. 
• Large Bag (makes 45 lbs): Combine the entire bag of Meat Mixer with 25 lbs ground protein and 17 cups of water.

Puppies: Combine 3/4 lb ground meat with 1/3 cup Meat Mixer and 1/2 cup water. Mix and serve.

Make Ahead

• Small Bag: Combine the entire bag of Meat Mixer with 7.5 lbs ground protein and 6 cups of water.
• Large Bag: Combine the entire bag of Meat Mixer with 20 lbs ground protein and 13 cups of water.

Portion and freeze or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

• For best results use a variety of high quality meats (beef, venison, bison, lamb and turkey). 
• Using chicken alone may not meet AAFCO or NRC minimum nutrition requirements.
• For adults, meat should not exceed 15% fat. For puppies, use at least 50% beef and maximum 10% fat.

Transition Tips

• For adult dogs with digestive issues or eating dry foods, mix a small amount with the current diet and gradually increase the amount over a 7-10 day period.
• For puppies, transition over a 1-2 day period.

How do I cook Meat Mixer?

It's best to cook Meat Mixer below 350 degrees Fahrenheit to maintain the highest nutritional quality. You can put the prepared food in the oven at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes to an hour, or until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can I give Meat Mixer to pregnant or nursing moms?

For mothers in the second half of their pregnancy or for nursing moms, prepare Meat Mixer as you would for puppies, or as directed by your veterinarian. This ensures mom gets the right balance of calcium and minerals. Follow the puppy feeding guidelines and adjust the feeding amount as needed.
