The proper balance and amount of gut bacteria are critical to your dog's health. Bifido For Fido is a veterinary formulated blend of probiotics designed to promote a healthy gut and immune system.
The probiotics in BFF are chosen for their ability to:

Bifido For Fido houses thirteen bacteria strains that are all researched for their benefits in dogs. Each probiotic strain is carefully chosen for its ability to survive the stomach acid and reach the gut. Plus, we've added Saccharomyces boulardii, a special yeast that's well known for its ability to battle Candida and yeast.

Does BFF need to be refrigerated?
While Bifido For Fido is safe unrefrigerated, it is best kept in the fridge for maximum effectiveness. Cool probiotics will live longer.
Is BFF useful for dogs with diarrhea?
Yes, it is! The bacteria strains in BFF are veterinary formulated to help maintain a healthy gut flora and help with occasional diarrhea and loose stools.
Is BFF canine specific?

How does BFF differ from Protect?
PROTECT is used more as a daily preventative while BFF should be used for occasional bouts of diarrhea, chronically poor gut health or provide an extra boost in a time of need.
Why does BFF contain FOS?
Any product using Lactobacillus strains of bacteria should contain FOS (fructooligosaccharides) as a prebiotic ... it's the preferred fuel and keeps these bacteria strains healthy and happy. BFF also contains organic artichoke hearts as an additional source of prebiotics.
